300-8730 Series Potentiometric Recorders

The 300-8730 Series Potentiometric Recorders are a versatile line of precision, self-balancing potentiometric strip chart recorders. These recorders incorporate a variety of features designed to meet the demands of numerous applications. The 7-inch wide chart provides excellent data resolution in most situations.

Standard recorders utilize a 1-, 2-, or 3-pen continuous writing system or a multipoint dotting system with 6 or 12 points. The continuous writing recorders feature capillary ink systems with sapphire point pens to ensure uninterrupted, long-term recording. The 2- and 3-pen models record the individual inputs side by side. On special order, these recorders can be provided with crossover pens; however, the different records will be offset by approximately 15 minutes.

Multipoint recorders use a unique color dotting system to distinguish the data recorded on each channel. The 24-point recorder features a combination of colored dots and channel numbers that are printed at a selectable rate. This recorder also includes a select-off function to eliminate recording of any channel.

All 300-8730 Series recorders feature a standard chart drive with four switch-selectable speeds: 12.5, 25, 50, and 100 mm/hour. In addition, they utilize fluorescent lamps to clearly illuminate the chart records.

These standard recorders accept an input of 0 to 10 mV or 0 to 1 V and record over a range of 0 to 100 units. Special purpose recorders with specific recording ranges are described in other sections of this catalog.
